Financial Accountant
Forty Carrots Family Center is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to manage financial and operational systems, processes, and internal controls. This role will oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions, support the CFO with agency and departmental budgets, and contribute to analysis and insights that help drive strategic decision-making. The Financial Accountant will also assist in the development, implementation, and adherence to financial policies and procedures. In addition, this role will serve as a backup for payroll processing and reporting, support the HR Manager with administrative projects, assist with vendor contracts and 1099 reporting, and ensure accurate reconciliation of funds. The position will also be responsible for compiling and reporting on key metrics, maintaining the integrity of database systems, and supporting fundraising efforts with financial data and analysis. The Financial Accountant will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the development team, program directors, and HR Manager. Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience) with at least five (5) years of relevant experience. The position requires sound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in a nonprofit setting, proficient computer skills, excellent organizational abilities, and strong analytical and communication skills. Experience with QuickBooks Online and Salesforce is preferred. The anticipated hiring range for this position is $70,000 – $80,000/year plus competitive insurance benefits, retirement match, and paid time off. Development Administrator
Forty Carrots Family Center seeks an analytical and highly organized individual to work alongside our talented and dedicated Development team. The full-time position of Development Administrator is responsible for effective coordination of processes across multiple databases and software platforms, data management, analysis and interpretation of reports, donor acknowledgement, and assisting with fund reporting and reconciliations. The position plays an integral part in supporting events and is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the annual online auction for our signature fundraising event. The position requires a bachelor’s degree (or combination of post high school education and experience) plus at least three (3) years of relevant non-profit experience. Knowledge of SalesForce and/or fundraising software is preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, comfort with computers and technology, project management capabilities, effective interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for supporting children and families. The Development Administrator reports to the Development Manager. The anticipated hiring range is $55,000 – $65,000/yr. We offer competitive benefits and paid time off for eligible staff.
