FORTY CARROTS
+ SPARCC

SPARKING NEW BEGINNINGS

The Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center (SPARCC) is a state-certified center for domestic violence and sexual assault services, which includes an emergency shelter for families and their children who have fled abuse.

By offering family therapy to children and families who have experienced or been exposed to violence, Forty Carrots therapists work to:

  • Offer a safe space for families to process and address past trauma(s)
  • Support & help stabilize the family as they transition to a safer living arrangement
  • Restore a sense of safety in day-to-day life
  • Build confidence in parenting skills, the ability to maintain healthy relationships, and to manage crises

With the support of our therapists, families who have experienced domestic violence are able to re-establish safety and security in their lives, building confidence and resiliency to help them move forward with their lives.
