Having a child in the LGBTQ+ community can bring up a lot of questions, concerns, or uncertainties about how to best understand and support your child. You may have questions about using appropriate terminology or pronouns, or you may want support in navigating unique issues that directly impact you or your LGBTQ+ child. Forty Carrots and ALSO Youth have partnered to provide a judgement-free space for parents and caregivers to gather in person and online to offer and receive support. This group will be facilitated by a mental health professional but is primarily led by parents to focus on the issues and topics that you care about most. Come join us for a weekly group to connect with other parents and take the opportunity to share challenges, successes, and everything in between. Email veronica.graveline@fortycarrots.com for the Zoom link or come to ALSO Youth’s Manatee Center for meeting.
