Molly Bowbeer, M.Ed. Preschool Director

Molly Bowbeer brings a dynamic blend of creativity, leadership, and classroom expertise to her role as Preschool Director at Forty Carrots Family Center, Sarasota’s trusted nonprofit for early learning and family support. With a B.F.A. in Dance from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida, Molly has spent over a decade shaping engaging, play-driven environments where children ages 2–5 flourish.

Beginning her Forty Carrots journey in the Charlie and Davis classrooms, Molly quickly demonstrated a talent for nurturing social-emotional growth through movement, music, and exploratory play. She draws on her professional dance background—from performing with The Radio City Christmas Spectacular to teaching at the Academy for Visual and Performing Arts—to infuse each day with artistry and wonder. Under her leadership, the Preschool at Forty Carrots holds NAEYC accreditation, maintains low teacher-student ratios, and integrates research-based tools like The Creative Curriculum® and The Kindness Curriculum™ to spark curiosity and build confidence.

Molly’s commitment to excellence extends beyond curriculum design: she mentors her teaching team in best practices, partners with families to align home and classroom learning, and champions inclusivity so every child—regardless of background—feels valued. When she’s not in the classroom, Molly enjoys exploring local parks with her husband and daughter, and collaborating with community arts organizations to bring creative experiences into the preschool setting.
