This position is responsible for developing trusting, nurturing and supportive relationships with families, providing the information, support and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life. This individual must demonstrate the ability to work with parents and their young children in group and individualized settings, and must show the ability to engage families through a strength-based approach. Forty Carrots Family Center is seeking a full-time Director of Philanthropy to oversee all aspects of development and fundraising. Forty Carrots Family Center is a non-profit organization in Sarasota, FL whose mission is to strengthen families through educational programs for parents, children and professionals. Funds raised support all facets of the organization. A qualified candidate will have experience and proven success with fundraising events, donor relations and major donor gifts. The Director of Philanthropy reports directly to the Executive Director and is an integral part of the management team.
