Fundraising Event Associate
Forty Carrots Family Center seeks a detail oriented, highly organized individual with excellent people skills who will support the Development Department and the Agency as a whole.  Primary responsibilities include fundraising event management related duties.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including excel is required. Some database experience preferred.  Prior Event and project management experience required, preferably with a non-profit. Parenting Educator
The Parenting Program has an opening for a Parenting Educator. This position will be responsible for developing trusting, nurturing, and supportive relationships with families, providing the information, support and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life.  This individual must demonstrate the ability to work with parents and their young children in group and individualized settings, and must show the ability to engage families through a strength-based approach. Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Counseling, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience working with children and families. Substitute Teacher
The Preschool at Forty Carrots Family Center has openings for qualified substitute teachers to join our NAEYC accredited preschool team for the 2016-2017 school year. Bachelor’s degree or higher with some experience preferred. Familiarity with NAEYC, Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold will be a plus, and completion of required DCF training.
